Present your RFID media to this centrally located Metra Reader on the bank of lockers and the system will auto-assign you a locker for temporary use. Or, for a permanent-use locker, the locker will be assigned administratively and when you present your RFID media to the reader your assigned locker will unlock.

Designed for your unique needs
location
Located in the center or on the side(s) of the locker bank. Depending on how many lockers are in a bank, for the best user experience, two Metra readers could be used to access the lockers. This may eliminate bottleneck effects, depending upon the workflow of peak demand for users coming in and out in a staggered manner, or all at consistent and predictable times.
use
Metra Reader can be configured for temporary-use or short-term with a system auto-assign based on the available lockers or administratively assigned for more permanent or temporary use. The locker can be locked and unlocked with RFID media.
The system can be configured for additional security to have the user put in their unique 4-digit PIN after presenting their RFID media. This is for permanent use.

The Metra Reader comes with built-in ISO Reader that reads 99.9% of the RFID media available, such as LF, ISO 15693, ISO 14443A, and 14443B. For example, brands, like HID iClass™, Seos™, Mifare™, DESfire, LEGIC, Sony FeliCa, CEPAS, SRx, etc.
To create an even more secure environment, specific readers, such as Metra Reader, with Genuine HID Technology™, Legic, etc are also available. Can be assigned to as many lockers as convenient.
mobile access
Additional flexibility to open and choose a locker for the day, our mobile access options allow users to choose the location, size, and duration of the locker. Users can assign a locker for themselves or simply present their mobile credentials if they have an administratively assigned locker.

The Reader on Door configuration has a reader on every door opening, allowing users to present their RFID media. The system can be self-assigned, meaning if the LED light on the locker is green it is available for use or it can be administratively pre-assigned where you have an assigned locker that is always yours.
