Where in the world are Metra Lockers?
At Columbia University, they have installed a package parcel locker bank. These lockers are unique with multiple-sized openings and are integrated with a leading software provider of mail center workflows. This system provides students with a faster, more reliable, and convenient solution to get their packages. Once the students receive an email saying their package is ready for pickup, they can access the locker after presenting their student ID, QR code, or a PIN at the centralized touchscreen and reader. The locker door will pop open, they grab their package and shut the door, ready for the next item to be delivered in that locker opening.
