Art Centers & Performing Arts

| personal storage

Whether it is a concert hall, the dance theater or auditorium that hosts hundreds of performances a year. Or the behind the scenes work of the art centers where students are creating art — a place to store belongings adds convenience like none other.

Performing Arts

Provide your guests a self-sufficient and convenient coat-check or bag-check with rental lockers. When purchasing tickets online or at the time of the show, your guests can rent a locker to store their belongings during the show.

Rental lockers can be an additional revenue source for your facility while providing the amenity that goes above and beyond some regular old locker. Guests can simply click the link provided on your website at the time of purchasing the show’s ticket and visually select the locker bank and locker to rent for that specific time and date of the show they will be attending. Or if they realize once they get to the facility that they don’t want to hold onto their belongings they can simply scan a QR code on the locker and rent it right from their smartphone.

As the university you have full control over the lockers. You choose how much you want to charge per rental and how long the locker can be rented for. Administratively, financial and usage reports can be run to understand the ROI on your investment.

What happens behind the scenes, before the art gallery show, is the real work of the students whether it’s fine arts or computer arts. Oftentimes in the fine arts center students are lugging their portfolios and artwork to and from the facility. Provide your students with rental or the free amenity of smart lockers for the semester or school year.

The student can choose their locker by a few simple clicks on the university’s portal page to pick a locker that is in a close location to where their fine art classes will be. The visual illustration of the building’s floorplan will help them make sure they are choosing a locker that logistically makes sense for their classes.

Students won’t need to bring any padlocks or remember a 4-digit pin, rather they can simply open the lockers with their University ID whether it’s a physical card or a mobile credential in their smartphone. Learn more about the connected campus and lockers to learn more about how we do it.
