Metramodo provides the latest generation electronic locking system for ski lockers. The system pictured below offers a card RFID reader on each locker’s door. A feature that makes this system especially user friendly.
Another device which contributes to the visitor’s positive experience at the depot is the 10” info terminal. Should the visitor forget his/her locker number, they can easily find their locker by scanning their card at the nearest Info Terminal, which indicates their locker number. Programmable touch screen reader terminals can also be used for other purposes, such as checking of other data related to the visitor’s account.
System also manages the access to ski depots. Only valid visitor cards can be used to pass through Metra Door Access terminals positioned at entrance points to ski depots.
local and remote locations can rent lockers
The schematic to the right explains the advanced management system which enables ski locker rental locally at cash desks or remotely from hotels connected into the system.
To prevent any failures due to interruptions with network connectivity between main and remote locations, dedicated backup servers have been used at each ski depot. Backup servers allow visitors to unlock their lockers even when connection to the main server is lost.
In this case, the whole electronic locking and access control system is also compatible with the time and attendance system. This means that all employees can enter and exit the depots with the same cards they use to clock-in for work.
